Why This Matters Now

On August 4th, KaM Auto hosted the EU Battery Regulation Conference in Nonthaburi, Thailand, a full day deep dive for most demanding compliance frameworks.

Over 40 people from across the industry showed up to get an understanding of EUBR 2023/1542. The regulation combines product and organisational level obligations, making it essential for businesses.

The major goals of the regulation are clear: ensure sustainable production, promote collection and recycling, introduce low carbon footprint requirements, set targets for recycled content, minimize harmful substances, and provide consumers with digital access to performance information.

The overall aim is to create a circular economy for batteries.
